Stabile

Part of our 2018 collection, in which we look to Alexander Calder's works for inspiration. Made in sterling silver and vermeil in chrome 20k yellow and white gold, the Stabile is inspired by the petal elements often found in the artist's mobile works. We wanted to work on the transition from two-dimensional planes to three-dimensional forms, making this series our own interpretation and expression of nature’s fluidity and versatility through metal. *One size only, fits continental sizes 6 and 7.

Hexa with Blue Sapphires

We took one of our best sellers, the Cut Out, and spiced it up a notch with some jewels on the side, becoming a subtle statement piece fit for everyday wear. Fleur

Light is as much part of the experience of accessorizing as the individual “wearable objects” themselves. With that in mind, we’ve created Fleur- a gentle and intricate ring set with a single stone. While this softer shape may appear as a more organic expression, it still retains the linearity and geometry found in the signature charXchen designs. Curled up like a sleeping flower, Fleur comes in several colorways. Opal with 14K gold band expresses a warm glow, while the sterling silver band is an edgier choice. Other stone options include malachite, red sardonyx, amethyst, turquoise, and jade. *Open ring for adjustable sizing.

Rainbow Line

Twist

"Just as one can compose colors, or forms, so one can compose motions."--Alexander CalderAs our 2018 collection was inspired by the works of Calder, we wanted to bring all these elements into our creations for this season. Twist plays on the shape of petals, further emphasizing our experiment in translating two-dimension planes to three-dimensional forms in the manner of Calder. The bicolor, chrome 20K white and yellow gold vermeil heightens the drama. The regular fits continental sizes 7 and 8, while the mini size fits continental size 4- wears well as a first knuckle ring.

We are fascinated by the ripples, the twists, and the waves of ribbons. Inspired by the fluidity of ribbon dances, we wanted to immortalize the movements with materials we are familiar with. We crafted this Ribbon 02 necklace with the hopes to capture ribbon's transformative nature. The loose pendant hangs on a 16" sterling silver chain.
