I was born and raised in Nairobi, but later moved to Atlanta, GA. Only months after my move to the U.S., I was given the devastating news that I had leukemia. The journey, the fight, and the outcome that started in Kenya is now one of acceptance. I live knowing that my energy and positive outlook on life is living proof that HOPE can prevail . When I visualize my future, I see myself traveling in luxury, wearing airy African- fused fashion, with a beautiful leather bag in tow. Living in freedom! That's why I founded Hope & Bags. I don't just want this for me, I want it for every woman who has been through something - and we know that's every woman.
