She has experienced spectrum of where these two fields connect and where they differ. With this experience she has encountered the many ways in which the public perceives the process of the handmade versus the manufactured, the curiosity towards both processes. Kendra’s knowledge of time periods and what was happening socially and politically to challenge and create new ways of designing and making jewelry informs her own work. Kendra currently designs jewelry for custom clients and creates one of a kind pieces in New York Cities Diamond District using ethically sourced materials. Kendra recently launched her namesake collection with Moda Operandi.
