O Channell Designs is a one woman operation. From the initial design, to the final polish, designer, Odette Channell creates each piece of jewelry by hand. Her inspiration can come from anywhere, but natural elements and materials always draw her in. Our gold and silver is ethically sourced and/or recycled, and we are moving towards eliminating newly mined metals from our practice. Diamonds are sourced ethically, adhering to the Kimberly Process; or are recycled post-consumer stones. We cannot ensure the background of all of our colored stones. New purchases are being sourced ethically, both as cut stones and as raw material(cut by the designer). But because our inventory goes back several years it is difficult to trace the origins of each stone. Moving forward O Channell Designs will be dedicated to sourcing more ethical and sustainable materials.
