About The Creator
Carpenter and Sons Fine Jewelry was created by its founder Brian Carpenter a designer who found his passion in creating jewelry that was timeless and beautiful but also told a story.
As a classically trained bench jeweler and jewelry designer he approaches each piece as something unique, more about the individual than the piece of jewelry. Each design goes through a styling portion where we ask for you to send us images of your existing jewelry so we can appropriately style your new piece to be worn and accessorized with your existing jewelry.
Once we have your style and what you wear daily we begin our concept creative stage. Brian hand draws several concepts to explore design and reviews your response to refine the piece further. Typically this is done several times to end at a piece that is reflective of the user. A piece that is timeless, unique and representative of your individual style.
Once the concept stage is complete production begins. We work off of silver molds for you to review and create a symbiotic relationship where you as a client have a physical example to review against a finished piece and we have a model to work from. In the end we are seeing the same piece as its being made. This is something traditionally only reserved for clients from the top jewelry houses with a six figure budget.
Our in-house jewelers and stone setters work skillfully to produce a piece with noticeably elevated standards of craftsmanship and stone setting.
Our shop is made up of both estate and new jewelry. We are experts in vintage and estate jewelry and take this knowledge of jewelries rich history and impart it into any design. We have three jewelers one being a master jeweler and two stone setters. Our production staff is backed by two jewelry designers who are experts in jewelry design and styling.
Sourcing rare and large stones is something we've done for nearly 30 years. Our families legacy in jewelry stretches beyond 50 years and something we are very proud of. Its the lasting relationships and the knowledge that allows us to provide our clients with stones other dream of. Large and rare doesn't always mean expensive. We source semi-precious stones for clients frequently and offer them a unique starting point for a piece that will be noticed and cherished for years to come.
Approachable and friendly. Our founder believes jewelry, although elegant and highly valued should be handled in an approachable manner. Our process leads with education for our clients and invites them in to a welcoming atmosphere.
