Mother and daughter duo, Mimi Illouz and Sienna De L’Orpaz carefully design and draw inspiration with the Leggero woman in mind – a self-validated, powerful woman with a fierce sense of style. Leggero Bijoux opened its doors to a luxury jewelry world by a mother-daughter duo. Both from the fashion industry, Mimi Illouz began her career at the famed Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, and subsequently began designing for some of the biggest brands in the world; years later, she left the industry to become a full-time artist, travelling the world and winning many accolades and awards throughout her career; and more recently she began designing jewelry, and redesigning heirlooms for private clientele. Daughter Sienna De L’Orpaz began her career similarly when she enrolled at Accademia Italiana Arte Moda to study fashion design, and subsequently began designing for luxury brands and hotels, writing for fashion magazines, and ending up as a fashion editor; after graduating from Columbia Business School, she decided to join her mother in creating Leggero Bijoux – a jewelry line that was born between classics and fashion. Living and growing up all over the world – from Morocco to Thailand, to Hong Kong, Singapore and Israel – Leggero Bijoux possesses a distinctive intercontinental element as they draw inspiration from the places they’ve lived and travelled.
