Organic Bucket Hat - Wendolyne Pere

Wendy was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. In her high school years at United High School, she wore her ROTC uniform with pride and joy. After graduating from Laredo Community College, she worked as an advocate for the Webb County Indigent Service before making a 180-degree pivot to the legal system, obtaining her paralegal certificate through TAMIU and working for the County Clerks. Before working for the Border Fence Project, she ran her own business as a mobile notary process server. She is also an NRA gun instructor. Wendy transferred from Laredo to the McAllen office to seek better opportunities. She is the proud mother of four wonderful boys: Allan (21), Reynaldo (14), Gael (9), and Mauricio (7). She has also recently rescued a 10-year-old poodle named Chiva and began to try her hand at art by taking an online course. In her free time, she enjoys appreciating art, reading poetry and novels, cooking from scratch, cycling, shooting at the range, and yoga.
