I was born and raised in Nairobi, but later moved to Atlanta, GA. Only months after my move to the U.S., I was given the devastating news that I had leukemia. The journey, the fight, and the outcome that started in Kenya is now one of acceptance. I live knowing that my energy and positive outlook on life is living proof that HOPE can prevail .
